Inspired by Videos That Matter, The Month of Mental Health Art & Exploration invites everyone to participate in positive social change focused on the stigma and impact of mental and behavioral health on overall wellbeing.

Downtown Artery seeks proposals related to the topics below. We encourage proposals from individual artists and collectives, musicians, nonprofits, activists, and other individuals who have ideas for:

• Visual Art Projects for Exhibition

• Performances (dance, theater, film, performance art)

• Interactive Activities, Workshops & Talks

Wellbeing: Stigma and Impact

im·​pact \ˈim-ˌpakt  \ noun • 1 a forceful contact or onset. • 2: the force of impression of one thing on another : a significant or major effect.

Our communities, neighborhoods, organizations, businesses, and families face uncertain and turbulent times. What does wellbeing mean in the current environment? How do stigmas of mental and behavioral health impact wellbeing? Can a better understanding of mental and behavioral health help us contribute to more equitable wellbeing?
