"... his outstanding slide ability, steaming vocals, and incredible finger-picking style, almost sounds as though he brought the blues back from the dead..."

GRANT SABIN and the JUKE JOINT HIGHBALL
“Grant Sabin is a unique, talented Blues prodigy. He is steeped in traditional Blues, well beyond his years.”
- Rick Lewis (103.5 The Fox, Denver)
"Sabin's musical delivery serves as strong reminders that playing from the heart is clearly an innate process for some folks. He is one of those rare souls who "just has it". His eclectic approach to the blues/folk/rock spectrum is honest and convincing. Its great to see such passion and talent in young musicians. He is quickly on the path to becoming a musical force."
- Aaron Moreland (Guitar Player, Moreland and Arbuckle)
"Colorado Springs' slide guitar-playing bluesman Grant Sabin is truly a throwback. The multi-instrumentalist's baby face contradicts both his gruff voice and his repertoire, which includes not only his own modern work, but tributes to Son House and Jimi Hendrix, as well."
"D.W. Doucet is a one-man-band with a homegrown, finger-picking, country blues style featuring slide guitar, banjo and a bellowing dark and heartfelt howl. D.W. carries with him a 1950's racing stripe suitcase, an anvil made from a railroad track that he pummels with an old blacksmith hammer, and chains stomping on his left foot. He embraces the roots of delta blues with songs about the human spirit and the everlasting search for the soul."
